Go MAD Giveaway

Andy Gilbert, Group Managing Director of Go MAD Thinking, entered the Poker Face TV quiz show to demonstrate the power of the Go MAD Thinking System. From over 10,000 people he successfully made the final three. Now he has decided to make a difference and give away his £65,000 prize winnings to help 1,000 people with £65 each.

However, you cannot ask for money to help yourself or support other charity fundraising, religious or political activities. This blog is about challenging you to use your thinking skills to make a positive difference, preferably sustainable, and help others to "Pay It Forward". What difference could you make? Please post your requests and comments.

Please contact me

As well as inviting people to contact me who would like £65 to spend, I also need to encourage you to return to this blog and read the comments posted in response to your requests - especially if I request you to send your full name & address. So Claire, who wanted to involve her Ranger Girl Guide Pack in making a difference, please contact me - or else I cannot send you a cheque.

Remember, to mention this blog to your friends, colleagues, family or any person you feel might get a buzz out of making a difference for someone else and hopefully they might get in touch.

Keep thinking possibilities.

I think what you are doing is great and was wondering if you would consider giving £65 to our new office which has been created from 2 different organisations. As part of our team building, we could generate ideas for how to help our local community and match your money so we can achieve more.

Hi Andy
I received £65 and thought I would let you know the difference it is making! I work for a charity supporting people with learning disabilities and gave the group members £5 each to give away to people on the street outside Inspire. This was very empowering for them, being able to support other people. Some of the money was used in the following ways...
a homeless person bought themselves some food, another homeless person bought some new trousers, one person donated their £5 to charity, and 2 others came back to get more involved with Inspire supporting our members! Brilliant!

I have been reccomended by Myrah Duckworth I am Churchwarden at Holy Cross Church, Billesley, Birmingham. I am looking to set up a website for the Church and ajoining Community Centre to show the local community what we do and how they can get involved. We run councelling services, educational classes, and work very closly with the local Council to provide needy services in the local area, but the people in the community need to know what is going on and when, a website would enable us to contact many more people than we do at the moment. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dave,

I have decided to not support any religious or political organisations with my donations. I am sure that by involving others you can identify the possible resources or skills to build your website.
