Go MAD Giveaway

Andy Gilbert, Group Managing Director of Go MAD Thinking, entered the Poker Face TV quiz show to demonstrate the power of the Go MAD Thinking System. From over 10,000 people he successfully made the final three. Now he has decided to make a difference and give away his £65,000 prize winnings to help 1,000 people with £65 each.

However, you cannot ask for money to help yourself or support other charity fundraising, religious or political activities. This blog is about challenging you to use your thinking skills to make a positive difference, preferably sustainable, and help others to "Pay It Forward". What difference could you make? Please post your requests and comments.

New Year Resolutions

Whilst I don't believe in setting New Year resolutions (why wait for New Year? - do it whenever you have a strong enough reason why), many people attempt to make a difference in their lives at the start of the year. So what differences are you going to make?

In 2008, why not use your thinking skills and decide to make a difference in someone else's life? If you would like £65 to help, then please post a request.

Hi Lisa,

I notice from your blog that you are looking to raise a considerable amount of money and I am not convinced that £65 will really make that much difference in the way I intended. (As a rule I don't tend to support existing fundraising activities)

However, I am willing to help you with your thinking by sending you a free copy one of my books - "Go MAD - The Art of Making A Difference" which should help you apply key success principles to your fundraising. If you would like a copy please visit the website www.gomadthinking.com and email me your name and address.

Best wishes with helping your son.

Would you consider giving £65 to our Youth Club (11 - 16 year olds)?
Last night the committee (3 parents & 2 kids)had the idea of organising a 1960's party for the OAPs who live in the bungalows in the village. We would use the money to decorate the inside of the village hall in a 1960's theme to give it a surprise wow factor.

Hi Andrea,
Sounds a great idea. Send me your contact details and I will send you £65 to help relive the '60's.

Hi all,
Andy gave me 65.00! My challenge is to help inspire 65 people to request 65.00 from Andy too. Today I am holding a community workshop to help bounce ideas around and emcourage them to make a request. Some of the money has already been spent by my 3 year old daughter who bought 25 Valentine's Cup Cakes for everybody at her nursery as she told me she wanted to share her love!!! I explained to the teacher where the money came from and she said she will discuss this with the group and put a request in for them. If 3 year olds can make a diifference... we all can!
